Yes good news indeed. I was one day away from trading in my Pure. SO glad to have sound. Now I can use Andriod all day long.

I still can't get ringtone

i have installed the latest kernel. everything works O.K. but i don't get sound when someone calls me, it only vibrates. I even modified my startup file htc_hw.call_vol=4

but this doesn't work, and it gives error that htc_hw command not found.

I am using HTC Pure. any help please......
