Unhappy Dead pixel on screen

Hi guys,

Just today I noticed I have a dead pixel somewhere in the bottom left of my screen. When I start up it stays white-ish. It's a little dot. I got this phone with a contract, what should I do? I still have the warranty.

I doubt that warranty will cover it, because law mandates that a certain number of dead pixels are acceptable...

You can try and apply local pressure (gently at first then press harder till it works), just press on and around the pixel. The aim is to massage the pixel which can fix some causes of a stuck pixel...

Not guaranteed to work, but has worked for me in the past with other devices.

I wouldn't recommend pressing with anything other than your finger or you risk damaging it...

Just tell your phone company it won't turn on and they'll send a guy to swap it at the door if your in the UK and up to 6 months into your contract :)

Orange. If your within 6 months it's within the sale of goods act and I've had about 3 or 4 replacements in the past from them. Intend on doing it soon cause the edges on my white x10 are rubbing off.
You'll need to flash to stock but just run SEUS and reflash that :)

Yeah a wee dhl dude turns up. They only replace the shell, not the battery, battery cover, memory card or sim but none of these bits become dodgy.
Make sure you come up with a decent "it doesn't work" story and when they tell you to do factory reset etc say uve tried all options but just get a flashing green light or something :)

That's damn good service!
