A way to charge without using (mini usb) on phone or what ever the connection is.

Anybody know a way to charge phone without using the connection on phone as mine is broken cant even connect it to the pc and not insured or no warranty am trying to find a shop that will replace the part where the usb cable connects ..

Anyway i have a couple options but not seen them around

1) wireless charging mat ?? - will this work ?
2) docking station that allows me to put the battery into the dock..

Cant you just buy one from your carrier?

Wireless charging isn't possible yet...
Try a repair service, or ask sony but they might charge you.

Safest thing to do would be to buy a dock with a battery charger, really simple. If you buy a spare battery too then you can just swap the batteries every night and your phone wont have to be turned off when the batt is charging.

Cheaper solution would be to just to build your own charger out of an old Li-Ion charger. Easy to do but you have to be very careful as doing it wrong can lead to explosions

jus buy a external charger... and a spare battery.. i use momax... use since my touch HD... nice 1... consider cheap also
