I have been reading a lot of how to unroot your phone and most all say to downgrade to 1.5 and then go back to 2.1 ota. Is there any other way that is easier to unroot your phone. I modified it to badly that its annoying to have it they way it is. HELP!

An example of what this HBOOT method looks like with lots of pictures and instructions (Ignore the comments about the "Root ROM" and "Battery Pull" - just let it run through all the way to the end.

After that, the phone might auto-detect it's eligibility for the July 2010 OTA - go ahead and let that run through. If it doesn't happen, you need to find the download for that OTA and apply it using the stock recovery boot.

You get extra credit if you find the instructions for that last sentence on your own. (Hint: search for the words "recovery", "update.zip" and "OTA").
