CyanogenMod6 is not available for the Vibrant. You're flashiing a ROM for another phone. Pretty much what vortec87 said.
Nexus 4 (E960): CarbonRom Nightlies | Franco Kernel (latest nightly)
ASUS Transformer (TF101): Team EOS4 #150 | K.A.T. 90
Older phones: Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S, Samsung Vibrant, G1

... Link? the only Froyo that is available is the leaked firmware and its built for the international version and doesn't have JIT enabled.
I'm pretty sure that the original post saying it was CM6 for the Galaxy S is invalid, "HTC Liberty" is the codename for "Aria"

Mhmmm.. just enjoy your phone for what it is right now. It's the fastest phone on the Android family for the most part. Froyo is just around the corner, the official Froyo release is expected to be available sometime next month.
