Default Media controls

Hello all, thank you for any advice given. Many headsets have built in buttons or even full sets of media controls.

I have a portable amp and IEMs hooked into the vibrant. Wow it sounds great!

However, there is no way for me to control the music without taking the phone out of my laptop case. It can be a real pain in the subway.

Are there any sort of media control remotes that I can plug in line to skip tracks, pause, etc.? I was also wondering about blue tooth, but I am a little worried of battery loss.

Thanks again for any advice!

Not sure if you would be able to control the music if your are running through an amp. I'm sure if you checked out amazon or ebay there are line in remotes that might work. If you still have the stock headset you can see if the controls work through the amp.

I have a Rocketfish bluetooth headset that the media controls work fine, I use an external battery pack that plugs into the USB for long trips then just charge it back up when I get where I am going ....

Hope that helps ....

Yes, I would use it on the line in side before the amp. I have been searching everywhere, but I can't find them. I guess I don't know the term I would search under.

Does anyone have any links to this device or what I should search under?

Thank you for the advice about the headset, but I am using IEMs that don't have controls built it. So I would need a separate in line controller.

For real man! I'm running an iBasso T3d and some RE-Zero's. It would be terrible killing this detail.

I just ordered a set of Zagg Smartbuds they have a mic in line volume and music controls some of the music players support control functionality, cubed does, thers an app called droidshuffle that extend remote functionality. I got a 50% off coupon, just enter their contest and theyll email you a code. $27.00 shipped is damn good for those.

Thank you for the suggestion. However, we am not interested in earbuds with controls. We are looking for a separate in line controller.

Thanks again for taking time to fill out a response.
