Ok so I I've been wondering what was killing my battery. Set it up weeks back and thought all was fine.

My phone trys to sync like every min but fails.

What gives? I turned sync off but it still tries.

This is one of those things that really pisses me off. I don't mind that the manufacturers add this stuff - but let us turn it off.

If i am syncing gmail and exchange, i don't need AT&T address book sync. Some people may use it, but let those of us that don't use it, turn it off.

When I set my phone up first time it asked if I wanted to use AT&T backup. Since I was already using google for contacts, I said nothankyou.jpg. But there has to be a way to turn it off.

Yes it seems it will shut it off but only after a complete sync. I checked it to off 1 day prior to pic I posted. Last night at 3 am it completed and had not sync since.

So it seems it will stay on and try to complete intill it does it sucessfully.
