FULL-WIPE is required.
You can try to not do it, but you may face a lot of random errors.

I'm struggling to find any problems to report as long as I ensure I do:

1. A 'deep' mtty wipe:
   • Cmd>set 14 0
   • Cmd>task 28 55aa
   • Cmd>info 8

2. Reinstall cLK
3. Reinstall CWM
4. Reinstall splash screen
5. Flash new ROM
6. Change all the system settings to your choices
7. Cold boot (i.e. pull the battery)

9. Use Titanium Backup to restore only user app data (do not restore apps nor system data like this)
10. Cold boot
11. Use Titanium Backup to:
    • Move user apps to SD
    • Integrate updates of system apps into ROM
    • Clean up the Dalvik cache
    • Integrate sys Dalvik into ROM
12. Cold boot (i.e. pull the battery)

I know the above is a real 'faff' but I've noticed that if I miss any of the above steps then I have experienced:

• Random reboots
• Hardware buttons not working (either not at all or as expected)
• Wifi not reconnecting
• Mobile data not working
• My phone was unable to receive calls

Running the above steps of 1 to 12 ensured I had a completely clean installation and no subsequent problems but this is not required for normal installation. Chatting with yz.hd and other beta testers, I have probably had corruption in my phone which was removed by the 'mtty' part of the above 'hard core' installation process.

My determination to go 'hard core' as described above, just to have v6 working well on my phone says a lot about the quality of the latest beta. My HD2 with HyperDroid-CM7.2-v6.0.0 absolutely flies

The above is the 'worst case' installation process and describes what I had to do to fix corruption on my phone. It is not required for the normal installation of v6

Hope I never need to do any of that. I don't even know what some of the commands are or where to run them.

Mine was just a little aesthetics gripe cause I do like the lens unlock type but I don't like the one in CM7, and can't stand to loose the music controls when I use MiLocker.

Anyway Dl finished about to load the new version.
