had this on for about an hour now, no freezes, everything runs extremely smooth, no faults to report as of yet, definately one of the best android builds ive used !

not sure what, but the home screen really looks like its missing something to me,
perhaps im just used to the cluttered hd2 look



my only question is, is it possible for the lock screen info, ie time,date to be put onto the home tab ?
i miss having the big clock and date staring at me.

small update to tether issue

Just a small strange update to the tether issue. I locked the screen manually by hitting the red power button. The tethering still worked fine. Then i turned the screen back on and set the timeout to 30 seconds and let it time out again. The same thing happened as before.. about 10 seconds after the screen shut up the data stopped working on my laptop and then the screen froze. First it would light up and show the normal screen but wouldnt reply to touch (for unlocking). I can hold the power key and it shows the reboot/shutdown menu. After that if i hit power again it just shows a black screen until the battery pull. From these symptoms im guessing it might have to do with setcpu killing something when it times out maybe? I really dont know, but the fact that manually putting it into standby with the red key keeps the tethering active and doesnt freeze the phone might help diagnose it. Overall id say its really not much of an issue at all, as long as it tethers im more than happy. Also i see what you mean by the size options when placing a widget, i noticed that and its pretty cool. The size of the market widget just seems awkward to me, im sure others are fine and its completely unrelated to this release.

******UPDATE TO THE UPDATE
So just now i was about to do another battery pull after waiting 5 or so min while i wrote that last post. Out of curiosity i pushed the power button again and instead of a black screen it went back to the unresponsive normal locked screen. Now i held the windows key and the screen became responsive again, super weird but easier than a battery pull.

i got it under spare parts

kuya pongs everything is working well now, i can now download from the marketplace, it can landscape, this is an awesome build!

now i need to buy a bigger sd card for the things i will be downloading, oh one time it crashed in the market when landscaping then returning to normal while downloading np for me. Really really great build.

will test it more... how about fm radio>>

Not sure there is an fm radio app that uses the hd2 hardware for non-sense builds.

Try Slacker or Pandora or last.fm... online radios are the only alternative it seems.

That's great... widgetlocker can add widgets to your homescreen... not free though, but highly recommended
