[Q] Bummed - Blocked from getting phone for a month due to fraud

Well, if this isn't a complete kick in the pants!

Sprint won't let me get my phones tomorrow because some jerk used my SS# for an account a couple years ago! Now I have to wait for thier fraud department to investigate and then get back to me. They said it can take 3-4 weeks! WTF
Come on guys, if you actually ran the credit in the first place you would see that my SS# is not associated with the name you have on file at all...

I was soooo looking forward to getting this phone. I signed up to have the phones waiting for me at the store tomorrow.
If it werent for trying to get a deal and going through Amazon and having them tell me to contact Sprint, I would have been at the store tomorrow rather ticked off.

Any of you fine folks that work for Sprint know if there is another route I can take? or do I really have to wait another month to switch from AT&T?

hmmm, T-mobile is supposed to have a big announcment in 2 weeks...maybe the Epic just wasn't meant to be for me...

they also told me that if they run your credit twice within 60 days it will be flagged for fraud
