DONATE TO ME
Question [Q] Text Thread Slow?

Okay so I've had my X10 since it came out, I text quite often and have about 10,000 texts to my gf and a few thousand to others. When I text someone that has like 100 - 300 texts the thread opens quickly but when I go to text my gf or someone else i text a lot it takes like 30 seconds for the thread to open and sometimes it doesn't respond so I gotta click on wait or force close.

Now I know that I could just delete the thread and it would start a new one but I don't want to really lose all that chat history I like to be able to go back sometimes and read them.

So my question is, is it like this for other people with a ton of texts aswell? Is there a way to fix it without deleting the whole thread and making another one?

I've tried to search for this on google or search for other text threads that i could download and use instead but haven't found anything.

If anyone knows a fix to this let me know it would help me a lot I'm getting to the point where I hate opening my texts because I have to wait about 30 seconds for it to load it's stupid.

Dude, just delete them. I understand the sentimental hold, but that is an excessive amount of texts to keep.

Lol I doubt the app was designed for that kind of load.

Sent from my rooted x10i using Tapatalk.

Sms Backup is a pretty good option TBH, it will backup your texts to Gmail, so you can still read them whenever you want...

On a side note does anybody ever have a problem when texting on the keyboard that it lags?

Example when I text on the keyboard not all the time but sometimes it will stop texting but after about 15 seconds the letters will all appear really fast. I've tried different keyboards but same thing.

I'm using the most up to date software but it's always done this.

When I have vibrate on when I touch the keys if it lags it will vibrate for 15seconds then put in all the letters at once.
