[Q] Is captivate samsung galaxy s android compatible?

I hear that both r the same phone hardware wise except for a few minor spec differences...

Can anyone tell me whether the android version of Galaxy S be used on Captivate??

My question might be stupid... I dont have knowledge in android field... anyone pointing me in the right direction wud be appreciated...

If you refer to the android found on the world version, then search this in the Captivate Android Development section: "Galaxy S I9000 ROMs (Eclair & Froyo) on Captivate"

Just to make it clear - Galaxy S = AT&T Captivate (without front facing camera and with 16GB storage by default)

yeah.. i refer to the android found in the Galaxy S sold as unlocked.. Is it possible?
