Talking JM7 Release on i9000

Hey all,

XWJM7 has been released:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=770821

Follow the usual instructions.. e.g. flash this ROM and CSC, then flash the Captivate Kernel (both with Odin) and reboot.

I just flashed it... much like JM6 Looking forward to some GPS testing!

Yup, been running it since last night. Not bad. Haven't messed with GPS yet, but I've learned not to get my hopes up haha

Not if you flash the Captivate kernel after flashing the JM7 ROM... this ROM is still a 2.1 ROM, which we have a Captivate kernel for.

I don't think there is a working SRE for this ROM.. you have to use the basic update.zip from here:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=728754

Luckily, this ROM already enables side-loading, doesn't have AT&T crap etc.
