New Zimage freezes my TOPA210

I tried the new image (sound!) with new intrid and all the other stuff, and it freezes my Pure. Haret pops up and runs the slide bar, then freezes.

I went back in and put everything back in that was working, except for the zimage, and it still freezes. My system file is almost a month old, do I need to update this as well to get the new kernel w/working sound?

DL new sys file... still freezes... ARGH.. DL the new bundle package now, will do a fresh install on SD card.

On a separate note, does anyone have any luck getting the google maps app to work? It will show everything but the map picture itself. When the app loads it shows a US map for just a second, the shows a blue dot on a nlank grey screen.

this happened to me so i formatted mt SD and put the files back on and it worked.

OK.. this is a little frustrating...lol

Formatted the sd card. Put on the new bundle I downloaded and it worked like a champ! I even have the Google maps now working!

So, I put in the latest zimage, intirid and stuff and once again, it freezes my topa210.

Any thoughts?

BTW! Thanks guys for all the awesome work you do... This is not me complaining! This is me needing help because I must have screwed up!

Try adding zimage at once then boot then initrd & rootfs and see whats causing the problem. Maybe you didnt renamed rootfs correctly... this happened to me once xD

Re did everything on a (again) formatted card. Did everything one at a time.. Used new image/rootfs/intirid from around the 26th AND 27TH..

Everything works great! Sound, maps, navigation, 3G connections!

I am going to use this for a few days and see how it does, and will report back, if anyone is interested to hear.

I do have a question, though.

I put the battery false in my startup, will the battery still charge if I plug it in? The phone thinks it is fully charged..
