[Q] Uninstalling HTC Sence Lock Screen

How do I go about doing this... my wildfire is already root'd with the puzzle ROM... but I want to get rid of the default lock screen for good...

Any help would be appreciated.

Just delete Rosie.apk from /system/app/ and restart phone.

That won't remove the lockscreen, it will remove the Sense launcher.

You could remove HtcLockScreen.apk from /system/app, but you'd be left without a lockscreen as there are no others on the phone. Try lockscreen replacement apps on the market

yea,got that, but what seems to happen is the default lockscreen is shown first before the replacement pops up.

The Lock 2.0 app on the market does not support our screen, right?

I have widget locker but the problem is if I wake it up quickly after it has gone to sleep (and sometime even if I leave it a while) it shows the home and the default lock screen before the wigetlocker lock screen.

sorry noob question, pls teach me how to delete the file in system/apk?
am already flash with wildpuzzle, want to remove original lock screen but can't understand the tuto i found in website. can delete thru this phone or delete from computer?
