So have you tested this?

Or did you release this with out any testing to watch others possibly brick their phones?

I say no one flash this until OP gives more info.

Just to let you guys know odin never flash the first time for me with my captivate. It just hangs and never flashs. After I reboot I get a screen with phone and pc. I use a button combo from there to get to download mode then flash again and it works. Not sure why it never works the first time. Not sure if the epic has the same issue but if it does this could be way its not working.

From this screen:
  1. Take out your sim card, removable sd card, battery and open Odin3(you must open odin3 before you start or it won't flash. Do NOT put your sim or sd card back in).
  2. Put the battery in.
  3. Plug in USB. (the phone will power on and goto the phone+!+computer screen)
  4. Hold down both Volume buttons, and then push and hold the power button. Hold all three and do NOT let go!
  5. Wait for it to go black and return to the phone+!+computer screen.
  6. When it goes black the 2nd time release the power button and keep holding the volume buttons.
  7. You should now be in download mode, click start on Odin, wait for it to finish and start enjoying your phone again!

This button combo for the captivate!

Yes, I really wanna know this. If this can be done, we ALL know Koush would be proud to support it. A few donations and we could have another addition to the Clockwork Family.
