Verizon Will Offer Extended Battery for Samsung Fascinate

We know the device is close to launch – it’s no secret at this point. More inventory shots have cropped up, though, showing accessories for the device. Outside of the usual collection of chargers, cases, and screen protectors, We’re learning that Verizon will be offering a 2200mAh extended battery for the device – that’s compared to the 1500mAh that’ll come with it by default. As most other carriers haven’t offered official extended batteries for their Galaxy S devices, we’re wondering if one can walk into Verizon and buy one for the Fascinate to insert into their Vibrant, Captivate, or Epic 4G. Someone will try it in due time.

Very interesting. New back plate would suck.

$50 bucks is not a bad deal, but I am waiting for photos because it says it comes with an extended battery door.

Lithium Ion is not a magical technology. You can't stuff money into a battery and get more capacity without increasing the volume. Hence, extended battery covers. I'd actually like an extended battery cover that does away with the funky "hump" in favor of an pure flat-back.

for those of us that have the international version, or the i9000m.

the i500's rear-end is different than ours.

that extended cover, would completely cover up our speaker. and there would be this gap right down from under the camera

I didnt really noticed that....... the position of the speaker is different
