[Q] /System/App Folder Missing?

Hi Fellow Developers, I own a recently rooted Motorola Milestone running 2.1 no other ROM. I am constantly attempting to install the Droid X keyboard to much failure, recently however i have heard i can place the app in my /system/app folder in the root of my milestone, however i cannot find the folder, i use a mac, so can someone please help me and direct me to where i can i find the folder?

you need to have a rooted phone. download root explorer from market then navigate to the system/app folder. its on the phone nit the sd card. can't use a computer to find it.
