Did you verify that data syncing works in addition to charging?

Got one like this. Dirt cheap and it works great as this is my 'to go' cable that's in my car. I modded some USB ports into my car so I have retractable charge cables for ipod, micro, and mini usb as well as a aux input (also retractable) and I got them all on ebay for about $5 shipped.

monoprice.com always has cheap cables..... i bought a charger+usb cable for $5, and its more powerful than the one that comes with the Captivate. works like a charm.
