Default [ROOT] unrEVOked 3.21: one-click root for Froyo, no downgrading

Hey all,

We've been working pretty hard to bring you unrEVOked 3.2 with out-of-the-box, one-click support for all Android versions on the Incredible.

Available for Linux, Mac, and Windows:
http://www.unrevoked.com/recovery/

Please start by visiting the help page and reading it through:

http://unrevoked.com/rootwiki/doku.p...lic/unrevoked3

1. Windows users MUST install the HBOOT drivers for this to work:
http://www.unrevoked.com/rootwiki/do...driver_install

2. Windows users need to uninstall HTC Sync or any other program that might talk to the phone over USB (doubletwist, etc). Disabling HTC Sync from the system tray is not enough. They interfere with the root process and will cause problems.

3. When asked for USB connection type, select "Charge Only" and "Remember this".

Special thanks to Sebastian Krahmer for the rageagainstthecage exploit.
mmastrac, unrEVOked

MSL Reader: reads the MSL from HTC CDMA phones
unrEVOked: root for the EVO, Hero, Wildfire, Desire, Aria and Incredible

It's working flawlessly on our testing devices, but we are releasing it for a quick round of testing before distributing it more widely. If you are interested in helping us test, please join me in #unrevokedtest on freenode.net.

I'll replace the content here with the links to the updated tool once we've finished testing.
i would test for you.....i wouldnt mind messing up my phone for development purposes

I would like to test since I took the OTA and lost root, but I am unfamiliar with freenode and can't figure out what I need to do.

Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Well your loss then! Besides it was just sarcasm, don't take it so harshly.

Can't wait for this to get released so I can help my cousin root his phone.
