PS3 Jailbreak compatability?

Just came across this : http://psfreedom.com/news.php . Looks like there is Andoid development (jailbreak ps3 via android phone connected to ps3 via usb). There is a list of phones under development here: http://psfreedom.com/wiki/indexp.php...atibility_list

This is way geek (android development) over my head but it does look to be working on other phones with a snapdragon cpu ...

You need a kernel module for PSFreedom to work.
To build this module, you need kernel source.
Dell didn't release the kernel source (violating GPL).

So - it's a no-go on Streak.

What about now Its released so surely its possible now and someone will work on it?

This is def possible but it will take some time. At this point all of us are working on porting to froyo.
