Default [Q] Bricked phone cant enable USB debugging to access ADB

Is there a way to access ADB without the phone in USB debugging mode? I have the blank screen of death and can't get into recovery to wipe.

do you get to the white Vibrant screen?
I would say try to get into download mode, and use odin to get back to stock. Just my $0.02

No, after the galaxy boot I get the dark blank black screen. But the menu buttons are constantly on...

Well at least youre not bricked.
you cant get into recovery by holding the volume buttons?
if not then I think ODIN is your next option unfortunately.

If you can get it to turn on and display Vibrant then you are not bricked. Boot into recovery and try and wipe. If that doesn't work boot into download mode and reflash the stock rom with odin.

Traded it for a locked iPhony 3g 16( my mistake)
Traded that for a 3g 8g. Needed more space so i traded it for a 2g 16g. Realized how baaaaad the iPhony OS was so i went back to android and got me a Cliq Xt...Current Device: Samsung Galaxy S-Rooted

I have tried over and over to boot into recovery as well as download mode to no avail. I called T-Mob and they are sending a replacement, but I want to wipe my device as well as recover my files. The real kicker is that I made a nandroid backup earlier in the day.

My main concern is if I reflash with odin, how do I get to download mode when I've tried a million different ways?

There are supposedly a bunch of ways, I find the way that works 100% of the time for me is. Dont touch the power button at all. Unplug battery. Put it back in. hold down both the up and down volume keys. Then plug in the usb cord thats already connected to your computer. Good luck.
