Default HTC Magic Official 2.1 from Rogers has no Live Wallpaper

Can someone confirm that there is no Live Wallpaper on the official release of 2.1 from Rogers. I can't seem to find it or active it.

If they aren't under Wallpapers > Live Wallpapers then they aren't there. I don't think carriers included LWPs in the ROMs any armv6 android phones.

Confirmed!

LWP support is not in Rogers's stock rom.

The files that are missing are LiveWallpapers.apk & LiveWallpapersPicker.apk (pick the ones from Chapishimp's rom)

Juts install these and a launcher that supports LiveWallpapers, and you're ready to go.
Galaxy Nexus

rom: Stock JB
spl: ? | radio: ?
rcv: CWM Recovery

So I installed LiveWallpapers.apk & LiveWallpapersPicker.apk & Launcherpro, but it doesn't work.

I installed the only LiveWallpapers.apk & LiveWallpapersPicker.apk files that I could find. Can you let me know where I can find Chapishimp versions. Thanks.

You need to do some '****' which requires root. Have a look in the Legend forums, someone got LWPs working on the stock ROM, there should be an explanation on that page.

Here is capy's rom (look under /system/app folder for LiveWallpapers.apk & LiveWallpapersPicker.apk)

Install them (by pushing to /system/app, you need root, installing from SDCard gives me FC's, but you can always try by rebooting/clearing caches, etc. I didn't have enough time to test it out), and install an LWP of your liking (eg. Android peeing)

Install Launcher Pro or ADW Launcher (from market)... and Home Selector to switch from Sense Home to either of these.

From the home screen, press "Menu", select "Wallpaper", and you should see the new option "Live Wallpapers" (besides the regular "HTC Wallpapers", "Photos" and "Wallpaper Gallery" options)
