NOTE: Be sure to always start from a clean JPH flash.
If you have never flashed a Froyo rom before, I suggest following these instructions carefully

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...&postcount=289

YOU MUST FLASH THE I9000KERNEL.TAR, FLASH THE ROM, THEN FLASH I9000XXJPH_KERNEL.TAR

I do have to speak for myself when I say the default JPC didn't have much battery drain here even, so I don't know if it'd be much different for this mod, though it does have launcherpro which is known to be waaaay better than touchwiz

thanks!

no real point in making screenshots right now as it doesn't look much different from stock (except for the fact it DOES have launcherpro though

Not sure if it was due to me using it on a captivate whenever i flashed JPC my battery would drain within 10 hrs and when i look at battery history --> other usage --> it would show running 100%

whereas while i am on other ROms it used to show the proper running time like 20-25%

anyways thanks for the rom , will try it out soon

Oh yeah, that was a known issue, you probably used the 512 pit file...

you MUST use the 803 pit file when you flash JPC, it SHOULD fix those issues
