Default [Q] /system/ partition storage

Are we able to check how much space we have left in my /system/ partition? I keep getting the following error when I am trying to push some files to the /system/app/ folder
Code:
Out of memory
HTC Desire, Froyo, Pays 2.0

Thanks in advance!

Type df when you've got an adb shell open, and it'll show the free space
