Is anyone else wondering the same thing about the verizon Samsung fascinate ?

I recently bought the Verizon Samsung fascinate, and so far its a good phone, how ever I do notice acouple of odd things about it. On the corner left top side of the phone there appears to be a front facing camera and LED notification light, maybe I might sound retarded for saying This but, it doesn't work. I'm wondering is it because Verizon crippled the function, or is it because I just haven't figuered it out yet? I'd appreciate any comments regarding these two misteries.

yeah my wife and I were looking at the phone.. it certainly LOOKS like there is a camera in there.. led too... but they dont work.. has anyone taken this thing apart yet?

one is the light sensor and the other is the proximity sensor

Just like tmos version vibrant, proximity and light sensor, sorry

I knew it wasn't a camera, but wished it was.

I wish this was like the Vibrant with its 16GB and free Avatar ( still have on my 32GB sd even though I cant play it)

Does anyone know how to get HTC Widgets?, samsung's preloaded Widgets are just horrible..

Fascinate has a better processor, better gpu, and better memory. The display is better, though the resolution is slightly higher on the X, it's a slightly larger screen, so its a wash. X has more mp, but the camera as well as photo quality are better on the fascinate. This is better hardware. I'll admit I'm not a fan of touch wiz, but we have no bombs bolt into our phones, so development should come faster and stronger.
