[Q] After di07 update, phones acting up?

i dont know if i just noticed it today or not...but after updating to di07, when you goto "about phone" and try to update anything like firmware or prl etc, the 3g will disappear and it will just keep searching but nothing happens until you hit back button...then the 3 g comes back? anyone else have this issue or has it always been like that? this is doing it on both of my epics.... and both have di07.... i coulda swore it worked in dg27??

also, i did notice the screen is darker as mentioned by others.

It has always been like that whenever you update the settings and it is not an issue. I don't think this is a necessary thread to open, because this topic has already been discussed. People have been saying that the screen has gotten dimmer after the update. I noticed it a little, only with auto brightness on. Who cares? It saves your battery life.

my main concern was not about the screen, i was just throwing it in there. i was just wondering about the update thing where the 3g icon disappears...i had always thought that when you update whatever on your phone, the 3g stays since it needs to have internet access to update??
