That's why I always say, quantity of posts doesn't mean Quality of posts. jIGSNER, at this point, the only idea I get from your post is that all community noobs should skip the Stickies and head over to the nearest thread to ask questions, creating a stack of questions that will never get answers. do YOU see where im going?

On the other hand, nice contribution, OP.

I confirm, works well for now, i have the shubbcraft 1.5 build and stock kernel, all seems to work with this kernel : wifi (seems faster) camera and video working on froyo, the phone seems a bit faster to wake up (like 1 second or less) most importantly it seems quite battery friendly (6-8Ma in standby)

Edit : I used the new initrd.gz for this froyo build, no problem

@hastarin: Thanks for releasing. i can understand why you dont want to support. Some people think you should support them 24/7 everywhere and everytime.

You can actually just ignore the diffs they are only needed for someone wanting to compile the kernel themselves.

Great kernel. Bar one problem.. Waking up the screen backlight doesnt turn on sometimes.. No back light. Usually have to restart the phone. Happened to me twice so far. Any fix?
