how to root what?

if you talking about the touch pro there is no need to root, you have root access.
Model: Samsung Galaxy S3
ROM: changing all the time right now

ya i'm still not catching you either. autostarts.apk is an app that will let you run selectable apps at boot (google). i see no reason this wouldn't work. is that what you are trying to do?

there is no boot start to disable on our devices.

Ok... that's interesting. I don't think root access is your issue, it's probably something else... I just don't know what.

He's trying to keep certain programs from starting when Android boots up, I believe.
