X10 Mini Pro Cover/LCD screen replacement

A few weeks ago, whilst changing a flat tire, I broke the LCD screen of my beloved X10 Mini Pro. After no useful response from SE, i decided to do the repairs myself. It turned out quite easy to do. For those that might need a hand in replacing the Front cover digitizer and/or the LCD screen, I put up some pictures of the procedure on my Picasa account:http://picasaweb.google.com/11677117...eat=directlink.

The Digitizer and LCD screen is available on Ebay by many different vendors.

All in all for about $50 dollars a replacement LCD screen. If u have a broken screen u might consider doing it yourself, as it was very easy and took about 30 minutes.

I plan to do this someday, of all my phones the X10's plastic gets scratched the easiest!
I always keep the phone in my pocket by itself, and somehow all the edges of the front screen have micro scratches on all sides.

I replaced the LCD screen only, not the digitizer, so I can't answer your question.

However I think if u replaced it with another it would be as good as any other new one? The screen I replaced was as good in any case...
