Default Overheating

For some reason my phone just over heated and shut off my set CPU is set at 442 min and 1150 max I'm using fresh 3.3 Rom and kings #9 kernel anyone know what could have caused this

Ur saying it shut down cuz it got hot thats supposed to happen. Or are u trying to say it did all this at normal operating temp?

I live in Los Angeles. Yesterday we had an all time record of about 105 downtown 120 in the valley. My evo would not get past splash screen unless in the refrigerator or sitting in front of ac on full blast. A whole day without my baby.....

Wow thats bad, but id be carefull of moisture accumulating internaly though, that could be disasterous

I'm not worried about it shutting off I'm worried about the cause of the overheating

Might try a different battery, could be an internal short

It just started this week do some damn reason I think it might be my battery cuz my phone is draining the hell out if it

I would definately try a different one, does it look ok physicaly not swolen, are the contacts clean, does it smell like lithium
