How many times have you asked your self this question through out life? I'm sure it's rather redundant. There will always be better things coming out. I myself just upgraded from the Droid and it feels like I have downgraded for the time being while development is in the works. Phones are phones. How much faster can one phone be than another? .3 secs?

Technology changes too fast these days. Anything you buy will be obsolete within a few months, as there is ALWAYS something better coming down the line. Just pick a spot and jump in, and don't look back. If you have issues with commitment, pay the extra $70 to get the phone on a 1 year contract (that's Verizon pricing) like I do. Still a reasonable price for the phone, and I get to upgrade every 10 months.
