Default Tv-Out via the 3.5mm jack

I'm curious about if the option to Tv-Out via the 3.5mm jack will ever come to the HTC Desire and whether this is possible (if audio/visual jack).
I guess then it will need a some kind of port of the Galaxy S ROM.
Although I've also read somewhere the HTC Nexus and HTC Desire are hardware limited, and will not be able to output to Tv, which kinda sucks...
So has anyone heard more about this?

Samsung Galaxy S outputting video via 3.5mm jack:

And please do NOT post comments about how good it is to have a Galaxy S i9000 that can output video to Tv, you're just being a pain in the ass for no good reason.

What the hell? I didn't even know that was possible! I would be greatly interested as well, so I suppose I'll bump this one...

No that is not possible because Desire hardware doesn't support it
The Desire's 3.5mm audio jack only have Audio output ,No video output.
to have video output... 3.5mm jack should have extra pins for video..!!!
So this makes it impossible
