Default [Q] Launcher home screens?

Is there a way to change the amount of home screens that appear on the launcher without using launcher pro or adw? I've been trying to find a way to change it to 5 screens, but I can't seem to figure itt out. Thanks in advance for any help,
Russell

No there isn't.

But out of curiosity... why no love for the better launchers?

I have been using ADW for awhile now. I just like the look of the stock launcher and app drawer. Also the transition to landscape is rediculously smoothe in comparison. I just don't like that I can't change the number of screens and use 4 quick keys at the bottom instead of the page dots.

Try Launcher Pro, its the only one I found very similar to the stock launcher and has tons of options (set number of home screens).

^ I agree with you, but the OP was pretty clear about the fact that he didn't want to use Launcher Pro.

I used launcher pro on my vibrant but spacing seemed a bit off. I'll give it a whirl on the G2. Thanks,
Russ

I had a Vibrant for a while and used Launcher Pro with it. Because of its larger screen size and relatively different aspect ratio, I had to increase the number of home screen columns to 5. LP allows you to do this, as well as auto-stretch certain widgets to fit the column change. You may try to do this with the G2. I've used both LP and ADW and found LP to be a bit more to my liking. Bummer about no setting to change the # of screens on stock. Reminds me of how the Vibrant locked screen 4 as the default no matter what.
