300 Flashable Font Packs - Change your system fonts the easy way!
04/05/12 Sorry again that I haven't checked in for over a year, but although I may still post occasionally, but there’s no way I can find time to maintain a thread or keep going with these fonts.
Also wanted to point out that these won't work with ICS, and if you're running into errors in recovery, try using Amon Ra.
03/11/11 I'm sorry for neglecting the thread, but due to family health issues, I simply don't have the time to maintain it, much less get everything transferred over to edify the way I wanted. d_1000 has been kind enough to help out here and he'll be posting the edify versions of all of these fonts over in post 1006.
NOTE - none of these fonts were created by me. I’ve tried to link to the public, non-commercial download page where each font is freely available. If you believe there are any copyright issues with any of these fontpacks, please send me a PM through this forum.

To use:
Just copy to sdcard and flash - these only change three files in the /system/fonts folder (effectively changing your main system fonts), so you can flash one on top of the other until you find one you like, but if you want to do a Nandroid backup first, that's ok too.
Notes:
Requires root. Should work on any Android phone, although you may run into issues if you're not using Amon Ra.
Some of these look better than others, so ymmv.
I starred the fonts that I personally think look awesome.
Some of the heavier fonts (like Hand Times) may slow down your rom and/or browser. Use at your own risk DroidSans is the default stock font

JsChiSurf developed a hack over in this thread so that you can have a different font for just the dialer.

A slightly larger modded version of Sony Sketch?
Like Sony Sketch but find it a bit small? d_1000 posted a version of it where he modded the font itself to be slightly larger. Look for it in this post.
Galaxy devices - Captivate, Vibrant, etc. These may not work for you. You might want to look at FlipFont APK's found here - Huge compilation of Fonts for the Captivate
MIUI Rom
These packs will not work for you. However, EndlessDissent put up a thread on miui-dev where he packaged up a ton of these and put them in a format that miui's built-in themer can recognise.

Hey does anyone know if you can just drag drop fonts (via root explorer or push via ADB) into the system font folder and get them to be recognized as web fonts? Or are Droid named fonts the only ones that are recognized?

You should be able to push them using adb if you know how. I think you do need to change the name to the droidsans first, though.

if you could bundle up some of these, i think they'd be great for phone use.
Updated to post 2 - that one came out a bit weird though (but still usable), I think it's because that was an opentype font and not a truetype font.
