Default New smartphone user! Couple of problems.

First of all, I think I have the hinge issue. It is kind of wiggly and the screen comes all the way down by itself when I rotate the phone.

Secondly, my data is going whack. Downloading Android market apps will stall half way through as if they are being throttled, even if I haven't moved the phone. Could this be because this is the first time I have a data plan and T-Mobile's towers haven't recognized the phone yet? Also, even in areas where the H symbol is displayed, the Android market often refuses to work.

Take your phone to tmo and request one that isn't malfunctioning. It seems pretty hit or miss, but some phones don't have that problem - so I think you can make the case that you got a bad one.

the download prob is interesting. Does it do the same over wifi? I wouldn't worry about the towers having issues, it might be your phone or signal strength. Do webpages load correctly or stop halfway through too?

I dnt think its ur plan with Tmo cause even though its ur first data plan the max time it takes to take full effect now is 2 hours. So if uve posted this within those two hours than yes if not then its gotta be ur phone. Id say just exchange it.

Okay. Thanks for the replies guys. I went and exchanged the phone anyway because of a build quality issue. Seem to be getting decent reception now.
