Changing kernel Also seems to help battery life. Mdeejays S3.1 kernel improved the battery for me dramatically. I can leave the phone on overnight and very little energy is used. And that is after some fairly heavy use.

OK, update on the MMS for 3UK problem. A very helpful user by the name of nutmegy has solved the issue. There is a couple of lines of code at bottom of the build.prop file.

This code looks like this:

net.ppp0.dns1=8.8.8.8
net.ppp0.dns2=8.8.4.4

You just need to modify build.prop file to have the following IP addresses. I.e. delete the numbers above, type in the numbers below.

net.ppp0.dns1=172.31.140.69
net.ppp0.dns2=172.30.140.69

Then, Normal restart your phone - a hot restart didn't work for me - and you should then have MMS and access to planet 3.

Huge thanks to nutmegy.

This is the most stable build I have tried yet but I was having major lag issues like others and this is what I did to fix.

Task 29 before flashing winmo rom. Out of respect for developers work I wont say what rom I use but I think the task 29 is major step if you wanna get this to run smoothly. Reformat sd card with new version. Here is what I set my apn settings to tmobile us version. Works perfectly for me without data drops and I can send recieve pic mms without wifi on.

After falling in love with the Desire HD sense builds and reading your thread i`m really ready to give it a try. However downloading from Hotfile isn't that much of an option for me ( just started giving 14kB/s and over 6 hours to go )

Could you offer a mirror link using multiupload perhaps?
