Don't know if anyone else is having this issue with the circle mod battery percentage showing a white square instead of the percentage of the battery. Flashed new part 2 last night about 11pm Sydney time was fine but when I took it off the charger the square was back, tried reflash part 2 still same problem. Other than that its a great Rom, no other problems for me.

By basic issues I mean little odd issues that make flashing tedious, the previous 11.05 rom I managed to flash by installing part1 and part 2 without a reboot and it worked, rebooting inbetween the 2 parts simply looped. I have also had issues with HTC ime FC'ing after clean installs and as I already mentioned have had to clean install the last 3 updates as a straight upgrade always resulted in a fail.

Saying that I have not turned off verification, I was not sure I needed to and went back to your instructions for my 3rd and final attempt to flash 11.12 before I put rodriguez miui version on tonight (to see that I am not going mad and lost the ability to do a simple flash)

As I mentioned previously I have primarily used modaco roms for the long term and as most members here will know they are usually issue free and stable so I dont tend to experience these kinds of issues when flashing - that said I really like the j-style and miui combo and would love to have a similar problem free experience so I can get on with enjoying the rom.
I apologize for my accusatory tone. I looked a little too much into what you had typed. In response to some of the issues, though:
- The HTC IME i think is my fault - i overwrote it with one that was supposed to be themed like the stock MIUI chinese keyboard, but it seems to FC, yes.
- Because i don't sign my zips, verification needs to be disabled.

Sorry, i must have compiled it wrongly.
Here's what you need to do (i will assume you have ADB functional):
1.) Open up a Command prompt, and type (without the ""): "ADB pull /system/build.prop c:\"
2.) Use a text editor (i recommend notepad ++) to open the build.prop file
3.) Change the lines which have EN_AU to EN_EU, and save it.
4.) Reboot into Recovery.
5.) Open up a Command prompt, and type (without the ""): mount /system
6.) Open up a Command prompt, and type (without the ""): ADB push c:\build.prop /system/build.prop
7.) Reboot

I'm sorry, i wouldn't have a clue why. Does Stock MIUI work for you?

Swyped from MIUI powered Desire using XDA app.
Oh, i understand what you are saying now
Well, the simplest answer is that now, instead of having to open up (in my oppinion, kind of useless) window with only 2 options (mount, unmount), a little dialog box pops up instead. Saves time, and you have the option to automount USB all the time. This is a MIUI fix though, not something i created. I like it.

do u use standard 1400 mah battery ?

for the rom issue, now i am running stock kernel flwlessly on 11.05 , is it safe for flashing exp kernel?
Yep, should be fine. If battery life is problematic (and it can be depending on radio version and location, signal strength, etc) try using Juice Defender (and plotter, if you like). It increases the battery life on my Desire, anyway.

Ah, I also have this problem after cooking a battery circle mod from UOT kitchen.

Josh... i was thinking that is there any possibility of porting the Oxygen ROM's camera app? It now supports 5MP wide camera shots and better video recording.

If you look closely, the percentage number inside the circle seems to be blurry I think because the number was doubled?

Josh, can you help?

1. wireless tether dont work natively, have to install 3rd party .apk (no big problem)
2. cant edit the contacts imported from facebook (force close always ), have to make a new contact then join it with facebook contacts, then only it will be editable ...

Default miui lockscreen images - where to find?

I'd like to have some lockscreen images from older version of miui.
Does anyone knows where i can find these images/files on the rom?

Thanks,
G
