Worked a treat on the Samsung Galaxy Note.

Although, at the end, when it asked me if I want to run a test, I couldn't run the test, as the phone got stuck in a loop after it mounted the /system back, so I had to pull the battery - But once restarted, I launched SetCPU, and it worked lovely

It does.used it many times.tmobile and AT&T versions.

I know its only been a couple/few days but has anyone figured out a solution for rooting w/ 2.3.6. Have a new Milestone x2 pre-installed and no way to root. Much research and many attempts made w/ no luck.

Any help would be much appreciated.

How did you get 2.3.6? I just got mine today from AT&T and its using 2.3.5 and I was able to root it using SuperOneClick 2.3.3 without a problem.

Where do one find a newer version at?
