For me don't work. You only need to download corn kernel and in the cwm there is an option to install super user ang busybox. Then I download busybox from stericson and update to the later version.

Same with me, I have a SGS 2 on OTA 4.0.3 Version. Any solution? I dont want to flash a Custom kernel, just root the device.

I attempted to download the 2.2 version and like some said it would, my virus protection came up and blocked it. So i did what the post said and read the blurb about why it happenes and then googled ADB like it said, because I am one of those people who is being referred to as not knowing enough to really be rooting in the first place, which brought me to my question:
why is it that when I attempted to download that, the virus protection popped up and blocked it but when I tried to use psouza method it didnt try to block it.
unfortunately psouzas method didnt work for me which is why Iam still trying
