download and upload speeds?

hey guys just got my fascinate yesterday and i downloaded the speedtest app and to tell you the truth i was a bit disappointed i got 120 kbs down and like 80 kbs upload. I think read about the *288 and option 2 which updates ur PRL and after doing that i got 640 kbs down and 605 kbs up, with my iphone 4 i was getting 1.5-1.7 mbps down and 0.75 mbs upload. I was wondering what are you guys getting? What should i do?

Mine is 2.8 ~3.5 Mb download and 1.5~1.7 Mb upload , is nearly the same with the Iphone using same 3g provider.

i called verizon and they basically told me that the speedtest numbers don't matter wtf? im consisently getting 100-400 kbps and maybe 700 in a blue moon! wish i could join the 1mbps club
