Default apps for G2

So I haven't been an android user for to long, just liked to know what are some must have android and G2 apps,themes,widgets etc.....thanks!!!!!

oops. yea. it requires root. obviously i haven't used it since going to G2

Any suggestions for an audio player - mp3, aac, flac, etc? I wish foobar 2000 would have an Android version!
