Maybe one is a dummy model or prerelease model.

I think the matt one is a dummy. To my eyes, the whole top surface is plastic rather than glass, and that's why its less reflective. I'd imagine that it's just to demonstrate size/feel. Either way, I don't think that they'd even make demo units without the glass top, because its integral to the screen (i think anyway).

Also, this is a kick ass demonstration of the size of the tab compared to the iPad. Demonstrates really well why I lurve the Tab.

I think they must have put a mat finish screen protector on one of the two Tabs. They are selling both Mat finish and Cleartype screenprotectors... I know because when I ordered mine for my tab I could choose between the two... (I ordered the clear one, much better in my oppinion)

You've had the Galaxy Tab for a while, how is it holding up? Any comments?

@all : Just read my answer at my YouTube Video:

"The Galaxy Tab has glossy screen. Thatīs the reason why i put a Antiglare Screen Protector on it. While there is no specific available at the moment i took one from Asus Eeee PC T91... ;) I also hate finger prints and glossy displays ! But with this screen protector itīs perfect."

Colors are not so fine anymore, but i like it (i think everybody can see why)

Regards

Mike
