What's the benefit of using this over RockPlayer which plays even more formats and is probably also using ffmpeg? http://www.androidpolice.com/2010/06...ndroid-device/

It can play my .avi files alright but sometimes the colours from one frame fade into the next.

VPlayer can play all the video formats that ffmpeg support, and VPlayer has better performance.
