Oh Wut. I'm new to the Android scene, I haven't bothered reading the GPL license and I am sure as **** sure I'm not going to read it any time soon. I obviously have a lot to learn. Go easy.

So we have 1.6 source but not 2.1.
Yeah, an email asking for an ETA for the source would be nice.

Eclair Update still unavailable in my country "indonesia", this is mean that SE making new firmware with old eclair(can root).??

Me too. Just tried and still no update fo x8 in indonesia. Any clue?

cannot root x8 2.1 please help. tried all super one click programs with latest adb, adbwinapi and adbwinusbapi files. still doesnt work

Have you tied to use searchbar? Or read?
Cause answare is yes. We have tried. And z4root has no capability to dial Earh root X8 Eclair.
