found out the reason was that i didnt download any driver for my x8

Actually, I have the same problem. But I've installed all the needed drivers.

I've the same problem as james_lau80.
He always waits for the device.

I use Windows 7 64 bit.

test whats hapen when you use the manual way.
(see the Linux/mac turial at the 1 post)

same situation here. I am using Windows 7 64bit

I have tried to run the program but it wont run. im using win xp. Ive never used an android phone before so what could i be doing wrong?

also How do you tell if its done. does anything come up on the device?

@all if the exe failed on you pc try the manually way
