Help with unread SMS

I have a thread in my messages that shows it's unread. I've opened it several times both in stock messaging and also in handcent. I've also chosen to mark everything read and it still shows unread. Its driving me crazy.

Please help...

And another thing, I also got a blank text from an anonymous sender.

No sooner than I posted this..I got a text from the same person n now the unread thing went away.

But still would like help with anonymous text

it's someone in here hacking your phone.
