[Q] Android ID changer

Hi Guyz I found an app that changes your android ID just want to ask if anyone has tried this before I havent rooted my phone and if this work i will gladly root and flash my stock captivate heres the link of the apps http://adaptiveeng.blogspot.com/

It looks as if it will, I have reset mine with adb already but this will work great for future flashes, it will save me time from having to reset it manually.

Noob Question. What does changing the ID do exactly?

There is a I'd changer in the market place that will change it.
The I'd changer does what it says. The new 2.2 has a bug where everyone has the same I'd. If u get ur I'd before u flash to 2.2, then use changer to use ur own I'd.

Allows you to download from the Market without any issues. If there are a ton of users on the Market with the same ID, you're screwed.
