Very functional and intuitive piece of software. Took me time to configure though, but once I set up the gestures it's gonna be a quicker shortcut to my favorite apps. I do have some concerns though, hope the developer addresses these issues:

1. Some inconsistency with the snapshots of the cards, sometimes stretching the image and then reverts when re-launched.

2. There are processes which are still identified by Itching Thumb, like Widget Locker or App Organizer which could have been ignored since they are persistent apps. Possibly an option to exclude apps in the future release?

3. Wallpaper in the background gets stretched for some reason. I don't know if this is an isolated case, but it's pretty annoying for me.

Again, thanks for sharing the app and have a good day.

i'm gonna just echo what most everyone else seems to be saying: this is a really nice looking app. webos was really clean with its cards, and its nice to see it implemented here. i love how intuitive you've made it--mixing the usual android long-press at the bottom with the gestures and swiping up to delete.

the only reason i probably won't be using this for now is the stability. it'd work a few times, but even when it did, it would be laggy. it's such a great concept and design though. give it some time and a few more updates, and this is gonna be a must-have in everyone's app list. great work.

EDIT: I REEEALY love this app a whole ton just from using it for a few minutes, despite a few hick-ups. That said, I want to apologize because my first reaction was to offer advice on how this could be improved to make it even better. I AM NOT COMPLAINING ABOUT IT! I think it's super awesome! And of course I didn't pay for it so I wouldn't have any right to complain even if I didn't like it. This app is very exciting and I'm sorry the first thing I let out of my mouth was a critique. Thank you so much, magicriggs!

I'm not a programmer, but from what I can tell the app works like this (when set for double click home button).

Home button pressed ---> Take screenshot. Wait for second press, after X amount of time, launches launcher set from within application.

In the HQ/rooted version, it takes a real screenshot. In the LQ version, it takes a shot of the app (The same thing Visual Task Switcher does). The second way of doing it can be easily differentiated from the other by whether you can see the notification panel in the top of the screenshot.

Problems:
1) If Itching Thumb is bound to longpress home, and the launcher is set to single press, only LQ shots are taken. SOLUTION- set Itching Thumb as default launcher, leave longpress binding. HQ shots can now be taken (assuming root and permission granted).

2) If above solution is applied, pressing the home button while on the home screen causes X amount of time pause, then relaunches launcher. SOLUTION- DEV!- provide user-configurable double press home times. Setting it to 1ms would allow users to have longpress home key binding without the app having to be significantly rewritten to avoid this glitch. This will mask the issue, but ultimately it's still there. If there's any way the app could check to see if the launcher is already in the foreground, and defer the launchers preferred home key binding, that would be best.

3) Setting the default launcher from within the app is not under preferences. It's under "Help" and you need to click a link. This should be in preferences like Visual Task Switcher or QuickDesk.

4) (Personal Pref) I don't like the bottom bar with room for apps. It would be nice if this could be eliminated as either an option in the app or a ONLY_CARDS.apk I would be less resistant to it if there were a way to add access the app drawer straight from there.

it was fun for a couple of hours but eventually uninstalled it. it's a nice idea but unless it gets integrated into the OS better, it feels like one more step to go through...
HTC Wizard -> HTC Evo 4G -> HTC Evo 3D -> Samsung Galaxy S3 -> Samsung Galaxy Note II
Motorola Xoom 10.1 -> Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 -> Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

Instead of a double tap you should be able to long press the home key if youd like.
And the ability to set your own keys, shortcuts would be nice, if possible.

Took me awhile to setup and understand, just rooted my phone tonight, dont see any high def images. but that might be as high as it gets?

Edit: If you could get around having to be rooted this app would be perfect.

Default LOVE IT

Love it, love it, love it. I had been using Quick Desk (a fantastic app in its own right) and another task switching but this does the job of both and better. Everything about this is perfect.
