mytouch 3g 3.5 adapter Plus remote on headset?

ok so my problem is that i have the original mytouch without the 3.5mm jack but i have an adapter that lets me use them which has a mic and button for play/pause

i want to know if there is any way to get something like skullcandy fmj(not those but just those as an example) to be able to to play/pause while connected to this

what i currently have the mic on the headset works but the play/pause button doesn't. the button on the adapter works only

is there anyway around this or am i stuck with the adapter?

better go and spent your money for bluetooth headphones... Adapter's have low durability ... and headphones have problems with jack/cables

This would be good for general listening. I don't think this is very good for running with. Also, many inexpensive headphones (3.5mm) have very good dynamic range and noise cancellation for low cost. I have not found a good sports bluetooth headphone yet. Secondly, the battery life of bluetooth has to be considered, what will you do when your battery is low?
